ArcobalenoA Poem by fiery-sanIt all depends on perspective...a rainbow or something more?I stood waiting and wondering How far could your gaze reach? Could you see… The infinite row of roses Colored with passionate red They bloom. Let Helios rise and shine As the orange band of fire burn I dare touch your warmth Against and guarded by the fire Golden treasures lay present For the eyes to feast and admire I spy the emerald vastness A forest Full of mystery and life. A river of blue magic Alive and moving It heals me. Blurred and hidden. An illusion between melancholy royalty I neared the sparseness of indigo dye Do I dare meet such beauties? Dressed and wrapped with violets Fleeting and fickle nymphs. I turn to you and ask “A rainbow.” You answer So much for the human imagination. © 2012 fiery-sanAuthor's Note
