Lacuna

Lacuna

A Poem by The Fiddley Scrawler - A Blog by Prema Tata
"

On better half's departure to sea following his call of duty... Scrawled On: Sunday, 19th Feb 2012

"

Contagious joy & laughter,
You rain ever in our lair.
Lookie here now & lookie there,
Only emptiness does stare.

The inside churns in despair,
My mind's image of you does not spare.
With you off to sea to fare,
I persist in our life-long affair.
