Dazzling display

Glowing, ascending, hypnotizing

Vibrant as the sun

CRESCENT

 

 

GHOST

Spirit astray

Sighing, mourning, lingering

Elusive as a forgotten memory

POLTERGEIST

 

 

SUMMER

Sweltering oasis

Baking, relaxing, tanning

Slow as molasses

FREEDOM

 

 

FEATHER

Green, silken

Dipping, diving, dancing

Drifts like a lonesome cloud

FRINGE

Regardless of the faithfulness toward the traditional form, this is masterfully-crafted...I just love how it flows, the imagery is perfect, and I think it would work great as a spoken piece...great piece :)

Amazing how the images strike in the readers mind asoon as he hits the 5th line he/she's shot with the next stanza that just wow's him/her as the last stanza did.. The portrayal of such sublime forms of nature and wonder.. summed up in one poem. Liked it a lot.
