"all alone"

the room's pitch dark
when i sat right at the edge of the bed
i counted one to ten..eyes closed
took a deep breath and said...
what am i doing here?
i'm all alone...

at times, i feel
no one's around
to comfort me when i'm in pain
why did you leave  me here
i don't want to be here
on my own...

i need you here
don't want a drop of tear
for when you are near
i feel no fear.

i thought you're gone
and all is done
that i can never understand
even if it happens once.

thank you for coming back
coz you're the one that i want
it's just so bizarre
every pinch of feeling
that i have..coz i'm deeply in love.

Once in love with one, it is hard when they leave. We are accustomed to their presence, their ways, our ways and when that leaves it is just us. Takes time to adjust but time is our friend, we just need to get out and live again. Great write.
