If only

If only

A Poem by Wabbits

If only the satiated sighs
didn't leave out the deviated gasps.
If only hurried eyes
didn't abandon seeking voices
that,
lingers around empty rooms
penetrating every crevice,
desecrating every opening,
for that
patient ear.
If only my churning heart,
didn't ache for that crushing
grip called love.
