Cold bloodedA Poem by Fey FrostI'm cold, Frost flows within my veins My heart is ice, it stabbed me once more That cold gripped me with its chains With elegance and pride my glacier I wore
My eyes a bottomless black hole Stare into them you will lose your sanity Indeed they are windows into my soul A soul that's been ridden of humanity
And though the ice pierces me It has kept me from falling apart What If it melts and I no longer be? What if then I lose my only heart
I cannot imagine a day without frost But what will happen when the sun dawns? I Imagine myself feeling completely lost When I am no longer frost's pawn
But maybe it will set me free Maybe I would be able to fly I would never look back and flea But what if it’s all a lie?
Ice is all I have known What if I can't handle the fire? It scares me but I am at home What if I die of my desire?
I prefer ice For fire burns
Though I know
For Destruction Ice would suffice © 2015 Fey FrostReviews
