spring morning wishes

melting, thawing snow
feeding streams, 'twas early spring
telly visions show

sunshine peeking out
bougainvilleas clambering
up walls, eating sun

winter forgotten
april showers, blooming spring
butterflies flirting

earth painted anew
colours bright, green, yellow, blue
countless unknown hues

songbirds enraptured
render melodies timeless
never to be matched
