![]() Chapter II: Into The Malevolent BlacknessA Poem by Ferras K![]() i've categorised them as poems but i don't think they are really poems. i started them with poetry in mind. so the categorisation. by the way, when does poetry turn into prose and vice versa??![]() he woke up to the stars in glorious scattered abundance like spilled celestial diamonds sparkling in riotous brilliance but down below the desolate landscape lay covered in shrouds of black as if in protest that the lights above disturbed its sleeping dead while the desert sands hummed from their heated punishment a lullaby of eternal sleep he was rested he could feel a little strength returning but as it had for the thirteen days past there returned with it, an unwelcomed friend hunger he looked up at the tree just leaves he tried one maybe hunger wasn't that bad he thought then dusted himself and off he walked down into the valley he had no time to look back but the tree, so green as if dipped in paint with no other in sight up above the stars continued their merry twinkling as he disappeared into the malevolent blackness
