The Wolves On My Way

On this day I travel along

on my path singing a song

thinking of the wonders

of my future to come

On my path of happiness

and on my way home

to my left and right and lest

I see wolves by the trees

Do they loathe me

or want to eat me

Are they my protector

to keep me safe on this night

In my heart I have fear

and to what is it shall I do here

Struggling to finish my song

I just keep on going on

I like how I get writers block and then BAAM! I can't get to a pen and parer fast enough. A majority of the time I go with what my gut tells me to write, then I mill it over and it happens all at once and just like that, Presto! A brand new piece of writing. I usually don't even read into what I am writing until I have finished the last word. Like how a painter can't see the 'picture' until 'it' is complete.
