silent moments

silent moments

A Poem by Esther

i have never been comfortable in silent moments. i always tend to drown them out with background noise if i can. there's something about the absence of sound that creeps into the empty spaces of my mind. or maybe that's my mind creeping into the emptiness that is silence, letting me know my deepest thoughts and reminding me that i'm still not whole.

We need silence and sometime silence is a blessing, sometimes not. Powerful use of words and thoughts dear poet.
