Chains

Chains

A Poem by Fenix Flight

"

CLANK

His words whisper to you

CLASH

They bind you to his twisted world

CLINK

Shining armour so dark

CLANG

Taint your mind to his pleasure

SNAP

Rusty is his once strong power

CRASH

Free is your caged soul

THUD

To the floor his bondage rests

A lovely poem. I enjoyed it.

The contrast of shining armour with the cold chains is striking.....what should have been bliss, turned into hell.

Painful poem...,,but sometimes within expressing deep emotion, we find freedom within.

I liked how you used the words. A amazing journey into thoughts and the chains of need and want. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry. I missed reading your work.
