At the Waters Edge (part two)

At the Waters Edge (part two)

A Poem by Fenix Flight
"

Beware this is a suicide poem

"

The water laps at my knees
Obscuring the Scars
Hiding my past once more

The Pressure on my chest
Gets heavier, threating
to cut off my oxgyen

Final thoughts
start crashing in
Like the menicing waves before me

The water tugs at my waist
growing impataitent
wanting me for itself

The water bites me
with its icey jaws
slowly pulling me under

My life flashes before me
As I realize how pitiful
and sad it had been

The water closes over my eyes
drowning away my life
Then.....

..........There Was Nothing
