The Likes of your RhymeA Poem by ZachA poem about arguing with someone whose words are meant to hurt you.Turn me a tide, at the likes of your rhyme, I too have words, a crescendo in time, Sing thee a crime committed in good taste, Set purge to my mind, though swallowed in grace, Words stylized and shallow in meaning, Strike my nerves to set fire, my breathing. Though serenity bestows the fallen, Mighty is the one who knows his calling, Make clear your intentions for I forgive, Should you so choose life, make certain to live.
