Gypsy Zombie

i was tempted by a lone star

glittering in the southern sky

it slashed the velvet of a cloud swept night

... reminding me of my father's eyes

i almost made a wish

instead i laughed until i cried

why bother...why?

all hope gutted

i've been resurrected into a living hell

i'm a zombie

cursed to wander where i dwell

in the graveyards of my life

rode boxcars through the desert

all the way to Mexico

nowhere bound and shivering

no special place to go...

dreamt of you again ya know...

those soft warm hands

your cold, cold heart

the one that blew my world apart

i should've known

your insides were made of stone

i am a gypsy

cursed to roam

a gypsy zombie without a home

This should be put to music, some of these writes are songs!..the rhythm should be the rattle of sleepers

Great stuff!
