he's kinda crazyA Poem by felionesssomeone i once lovedhe's kinda crazy i used to like it like that but the miles started dragging about the time i started nagging and the dust he raised started burning my eyes
on the roadsides black-eyed susans grew used to nod in time to the tunes he knew but somewhere along those travels i lost sight of them, maybe i'm to blame but for the life of me i don't know what changed
he's kind of crazy i used to like it like that but the miles started dragging when the horizon turned black and those dust crowded storms started covering our tracks
he's got his own drummer that's for sure when i still had the faith he surely was the cure but all that's changed now he ain't got the know-how and the road we traveled began to wear on me
he's kind of crazy i used to like it like that but with the black-eyed susans gone the road just seemed long and the songs he sung only made me cry
maybe i'm to blame grew up and maybe got too sane but the damage's been done perhaps i'll know by and by ..yeah, he's kinda crazy but then so am i © 2013 felioness |
