i am lost in this place i dwell

i am lost in this place i dwell

A Poem by felioness
"

A dark lament

"

where art thou my love?
my spirit weighs heavily where i lie
and the darkness is a cloak that hides me
from this place

where am i my love?
waiting in a pit so dark and deep
where time sleeps in the arms of infinity

i am but flesh rotting from the bone

dost thou hear me, my love?
can thou feel me in thy dreams?
i cannot find the place
i am to go

above me a raven cries
i am drawn to dwell within his mind
seeking out any place thou may be

does thou weep for me, my love?
i am clouds sweeping across an endless night
your name resting upon my fleshless lips

but i am lost in this place i dwell
so very lost in this place i dwell

i liked this, but have a little problem with the archaic language not being consistent. for instance, "where are thee" should probably be "where art thou" and "does thou" would be better "dost thou". sorry if this sounds picky, but i've read a lot of shakespeare and the king james version of the bible and this just didn't sound right to me. i like the poe-esque feeling of the language and subject matter.
