Blame it on culture.

Blame it on culture.

A Poem by Phae

When a guy beats up a girl badly,
The most people do, is look on sadly,
Still she goes back to him, he beats her again,
Blame it on culture.

When a kid faces his parents and begins to yell,
The road he's on, its very easy to tell,
Yet they ignore it, they let it pass,
Blame it on culture.

When old people are abandoned without care,
How much of that, do you think they can bear?
They'll die lonely without anyone there,
Blame it on culture.

When a boy grows up, learning to be the perfect thief,
He's taught to steal, before the debut of his permanent teeth,
He eventually gets caught and spends half his life in prison,
Blame it on culture.

When drivers in traffic hurl insults at each other,
Do they realize they just insulted someone's mother?
Why is the most popular word "f**k?"
Blame it on culture.

When that little girl starts slapping on make up,
She wears mini skirts and acts all stuck up,
She's in college now, seducing her teachers,
Blame it on culture, why don't you?
