A Place Called Home

A Place Called Home

A Poem by RingLeader Anonymous
"

I wrote this because the words seemed to flow out of me as if I couldn't stop typing. No rhyme or reason, the words just came to me?

"

Take my hand in yours, I'll hold you close

Let you know you're not alone

I'm here with you and that's all that matter's now

We'll hide away just you and I

I'll face the ones who made you cry

In our special place we go

That's where we'll call home

I'll hold you there till your heart's full

Even when the world we know falls around us like snow

You'll still be safe with me there

I'll surround you like the blackness we find in others

And the blackness that tares me away from you

In that place we call home

We share a warmth none but us know

A love, stronger than their lies

Their alibis's

The words we crave

Aren't the ones we need

As the place we called home crumbles.
