Gloomy Damsel.

Gloomy Damsel.

A Poem by Fear Corrupts!

                  The Gloomy Damsel.

 A beautiful mystery,
 An angel's dream.
 An untouchable damsel,
 A stoic being.

Her, without a name.
Drifted down the gray beach.
A Distant soul.
Alone.
Head hung over, her crumpled frame.

The land she walked was gloomy,
the dark ocean was too.
The water, & sand,
reflected her mood.

Quiet; still.
Uneasy,
yet oddly peaceful.

Twas...

A good place,
to wallow in one's sorrows.
A good place,
to come to terms with reality.
A good place,
to come to terms with one's self.

Fear Corrupts!
So,
I just whipped this up.
I kind of had this random image in my head that I wanted to do something with,
so mixed it with some other ideas, I wound up with this.

I stuggled with trying to find the vision for this one. I want to understand her purpose and her feelings but I couldn't. Then I read it again, and I started to understand.

The land she walked was gloomy,
the dark ocean was too.
The water, & sand,
reflected her mood.

I want to believe that it's saying that she's feels and seems this way just like her surroundings, but.....

The land was gloomy,
The dark ocean as well
but so strong & beautiful
if only herself could tell

I think I'm getting what you're saying. Though her mood is a reflection of the ocean, it only portrays what's on the surface being that it's also "strong & beautiful"! I could be wrong though
Very thought provoking......
