Let us pretend,

that our head's are in synch.

Let us pretend,

that truth we speak.

Let us ignore,

what we truly think.

 

Let us dance,

on a stage that no longer exists.

Let us prance,

on that horse that we miss.

Let us fly,

in the bitter wind.

Let us float,

on the quicksand of chagrin.

 

Let us believe,

& let us lie.

Let us win,

never let us die.

 .

Let us believe,

that the skies are pink.

 Let us,

ignore what we truly think
