In a Rainy Night

In a Rainy Night

A Poem by Fear Corrupts!

                     In a Rainy Night.

Drip.

Drop.

Is all what I hear.

The calls of my thoughts are silent,

this I love to fear.

Drip.

Drop.

Is my calming background,

in the dead of the night.

My lifeless audience,

this predictable insight.

Drip.

Drop.

Deadens the sound of my shoes,

as I walk down the dark street,

sipping my booze.

Drip.

Drop.

Is what I last hear,

my blood runs down the gutters,

while the rain blends it clear.

Drip.

Drop.

The rain quits my pending.

The storm brings down not just rain,

but a peaceful lovely ending.

this was a nice read. But the hole Drip Drop thing made me think it was going to be a scary horror poem.
good job though.
