A Late Autumn Night.A Poem by Fear Corrupts!
A Late Autumn Night
I shuffle down this lonely street, at about a quarter to four. On this fine crisp autumn night, like no others before.
The cool damp air, light & easy to inhale. The coolness of the autum breeze, gives me this colour ever so pale.
The shadows of the trees, cast long against the lawns. The reflection of the harvest moon, shimmering in the pond.
The sweet smell of leaves, lingers all around. Few leaves clinging to the trees, but many on the ground.
The crickets no longer sing, for crows have replaced their toons. The peak of fall shows in the backround, details mark what is coming soon...
