        A lonely Shadow           

 

 

A lonely shadow, in a sea of light.

Alone in the world, with no one alike.

 

How different,

How outstanding,

How unique the shadow is. 

But to be alone, is not a bliss. 

 

The shadow lacks friendship, bonds, & more.

Without a social life, the shadow's life is a bore.

Perhaps one day,

the bitter tree casting the shadow will fall.

Or,

Maybe the shadow, will just have to take control.

 

The right time will come,

for dark to meet the light.

The shadow will burn the tree,

& be set free for flight.

 

 " To stand out in the sea is important,

 

          but to be alone is not a bliss "

Maybe the tree is the quieter, lonlier side of ourselves. At least that is what it seems like to me. Anyway, as for the poem you have good ryhme, flow and you once again are making a point. Trying to us to look inside ourselves perhaps? A good write and interesting question! ;)
