You

You

A Poem by Rebecca Clark

As I lie here, it hits me;
you never loved me.
You took my heart, my trust and crumpled them into a thousand tiny particles.
You shattered my reality.
You played the game so well, I never thought that you'd quit.
You took my hand, telling me there was nothing to be afraid, but I should have feared you.
You were once my saving grace, now, you're the reason I'm going insane.
And the sad part of it all.?
I don't miss my heart, my, trust, my reality, or sanity; I miss you.
