Dark EclipseA Poem by Jessica A. FaustA love poem
This boy, he's got me hanging on the edge of my seat.
To think I once thought my life incomplete. A life once all hopelessness, Covered by my dark eclipse. To think I'd find someone to take me for who I am And not ponder my every sin. That was supposed to be a lie among my truth, He came to my side with a bit of proof. A shocking revelation, An undiscovered sensation. My dark eclipse began to melt Leaving my heart open to let all be felt. This boy, he's got me hooked on every word, Bound to him with a silver cord. To think I once thought my life empty, Now I find myself with more than plenty. A life once all hopelessness, Covered by my dark eclipse. Melted down to solid gold, Left my heart no longer cold. © 2012 Jessica A. FaustAuthor's Note
