Water girl

Water girl

A Poem by fattycbreezy52

Oppositions come when fire and water meet
They never subside.
Immersed or not;
This aqua girl always cries.
Folks underestimate the tiny drops from the azure eyes
Thinking how can water cry?
This water of yours is no ordinary.
Step ahead and reveal it's subsistence.
The deep-seated fire in you
Can provide ample justifications
For how this love can never parish or diminish
Because it's just in the old books that they say,
"Water puts out fire".

Opposites attract, no doubt about it. Some fires are not meant to be extinguished. Very romantic. Lydi*

some fires burn too deep for water to quell...love the idea of water crying and your sentiment of opposites being attracted is well written...nicely-done, my friend...

I enjoyed the poem and I agree. You could write a complete story with these words.
"Water puts out fire".
Water and fire create a dangerous path with a dead-end. Thank you for sharing the outstanding poetry. You gave me reason to write with the strong verses.
