This could be my year

This could be my year

A Poem by fattycbreezy52

I have forgotten those ornamented scrapbooks,
My phone storage bedevils me everyday.
But,my DSLR
Is a friend forever,
Storing the things
Which I never knew would be there.
Saving joy,compassion,love,
Tease,taunts and raised brows,
Pouts,duckfaces and faux-surprised expressions,
Set against the lovely backdrop of
Fountains,college canteen and gardens,
Parking lots,KFC and McDonald's,
It has made an unpremeditated art
With friends,foes and professors.
No need to resort to those customary pens
And crayons,
Stickers or ribbons.
I have made an optical scrapbook,
Treasuring some lovely moments
With the aid of a lovely instrument,
This could be my year.

This one was really sweet and made me smile. A happy piece capable of transmitting that emotion to another, this was truly excellent :)

Yes, indeed...thanks a lot and keep smiling:)
captured moments on digital imprints and in wonderful words laced with an appreciation for the art form, all the while remembering how we used to keep the same collections in scrapbooks... the digital camera has certainly changed the way in which we focus our 'scrapbook' attention to capture our day to day lives...well done, FCB...love the title, words and photo :)
