The girl with a cross-side bag

The girl with a cross-side bag

A Poem by fattycbreezy52

......................................................................................................

.....................................................................................................
Pink, yellow, auburn were the panels of ambiguity, concealing the fugitive chastity of her insubstantial bag.

A misleading panel walling fitting totally a fleeting zip was an attractive phantom to the shifty eye.

The strap like a harness kept her amalgamated body chained to the combination and the copula tugging at her homely cleavage pricked at the very delectable bosom, every now and then which stifled the sound of 'Ouch' from her slick mouth whenever she would hurry to reach the zebra crossing.

What was so foxy about that nimble bag? What prodigious contents did it contain?

A curious eye would imagine a whole lot of spectacular, striking and wondrous things in the bewildering package of this girl with a swinging ponytail.

Contents:(please check):

¤Just a meager plastic water bottle which had previously seen the likes of those sparkling drops of Coca Cola.

¤A tattered wallet bearing some handy change and around $2.

To the eyes of a common creature,it would not be stupefying anymore.

But the last thing to be discovered was shocking, moving and astounding.

It was, however, the most striking.

It was a small photograph of her late mother in the holder of the wallet smeared with a hazy, showery screen of tears which would fall upon it,

whenever she would open that wallet to pay in bus her daily fare.

:( one can imagine all kinds of things about a girl with the "...cross-side bag" ..such an interesting read ..totally held my attentions .. that second sentence is well placed ..with just enough of a sensuous hint ..and how sad ...yet how fortunate as she appears to have loved her mother very much ... for too many this is not the case :( well done says i!

I have a note from a friend in my bag
i never leave it anywhere

It makes me smile

Love how this bag resembles her
Everything in there is some piece of herself

Its funny but my bag is a sensitive zone
i would share much with strangers
if someone touches my bag

i feel like no
dont go there

and its funny everyone that has gotten to know me
no one was smart enough to ask if they can reach for something in my bag

Because everything there is to know about me
is in that little baby

love this
so smart

Thanks Nisreena for the review and for sharing your own cute little story behind that bag:)
Love this unique look at how we often misjudge something based purely on our own biases... the surprise in the bag was not expected at all, yet, there it was...love the way you break this poem into colours, helping shift the focus of the observed from the woman, to the bag and eventually the contents... I guess, in reality, we all carry a lot of non-glamorous things in our 'bags' of life but somewhere, buried beneath the mundane, is always those little gems...just like this poem... well-done, my friend

No, thank you, FCB!!! but you are welcome :D
A very creative piece FCB as you examine not only the humble contents of her handbag but also the misconceptions we all have when we see someone in the street and can never know them or the emotions they are, or have, gone through. I did get the impression, as you were going through the contents, that she had been killed or injured on that zebra crossing?
