Wow! It is good point we all need to talk about. Life is a journey, eventually we can't even trust on our heart, that can change in anytime then how can we expect the loyalty from other. Good point from the view of broken hearted man. But, no body is enable to understand this, till they didn’t passed through this... deep write, I enjoyed it well

The regret in this piece is subtle as it is weaved within a question: why did I trust him? An unintended one night stand on the part of the speaker... it was probably the lonely heart conspiring with the 'doltish' mind to take the risk... no one can blame the speaker for wanting it to be more... love the picture you have selected; it draws the same emotion as your poem does - disappointment...great piece, FCB!
