Waking the whiteA Poem by fattycbreezy52My endeavour, To wake the frozen life Should not go in vain. I am here, Clad in the same colour In fact,semi-clad. Wearing an off shoulder gown, Giving the Siberian air A cheek-to-cheek air kiss. I have come to resuscitate That lost, viridescent felicity. I have come as A mother, To pamper the impotent snow, Clinging to the apprehensive boughs. I have come as a daughter, With a stubborn attitude Forcing her daddy, The snow-clad turf To wake up from his long sleep, And take a stroll with her. I have come as a bride, All clad in this beautiful white Waiting for her lover, The woodchuck To break the oath of hibernation, And instead, unite with her in this youthful exuberance. I have come for winter, To give it a new life Breaking the curse of that heartless and haughty cold.
