Ya, being an IT guy, I can totally relate to this. More often than not, I have found out that music helps us focus on what we want to do - be it in office or somewhere else.

Breezy, I have always had my life intertwined with my love of music, I remember events in my life with tunes from that period accompanying the memories. Great title and beautiful words to describe how we find such comfort in music... it is, indeed, antidote for the poisonous venom of verbal abuse, shouting, taunting, noise pollution and whatever intolerable sounds often fill our ears... it is an escape to a whole other world... love the last two lines... fantastic write, FCB!!
