Desert WifeA Poem by fattycbreezy52A caravan of lawful and unbribable camels Trudging up the subtle path To reach a fugacious destination Chaperoned by cacophonous wind and booming sandstorm. The happy feminine faces are hidden; The laborious masculine faces have turbans upon their heads. The camels have mixed emotions; They are complaisant and used to.. Amidst this ear-piercing symphony of the storm was "SHE." A delightful half-veiled face, Touched by that honorable drape across her chest, all the way to her head . Every time she would try setting correct the hint of kohl in her eyes. The dangling of those extra large bangles would fetch only jealousy from the fellow desert wives around; Who would appeal to their husbands that very night, for another set. The loop like necklace dates back to her ancestry. Finishing his laborious task,he sits beside her. His one shoulder talking to her other for fifteen long minutes Even their mouths hadn't communicated that much, ever. Their eyes were to gaze with ecstasy the stamp of marriage upon them. They had only seen each other on their wedding night Yet,it didn't shock the love they shared It didn't take away the pleasure they devoured Silence was golden for them. He wasn't always occupied with his camels, nor she with her bangles They always had a moment of intimacy Lasting for a short period of time,at night, Between her freeing the body from that respectful drape And embellishing her breast with the same, The next morning. When again, the silence between them would become golden © 2015 fattycbreezy52Author's Note
