Wanna dance?A Poem by fattycbreezy52 Scurrying pedestrians, Foraging for the shelter. Glasses and window-panes; Shutting the beatific lashdown. Zealous children wanting to make paper boats outside, Reprimanded by the anxious mothers, forcing them to stay inside. ..................................................... Amidst all the emptiness of the streets, Which took pride in its hustle bustle a few minutes ago. We dance like mad hatters. Ignoring the umbrella which could deliver us, Safe and dry. Yet,we choose to dance. Not in a night club or a bar. But,on the slippery dance floor. Taking risks Despite your formal tuxedo; And my gorgeous stilettos. I am dancing with you, Dancing is a form of art. The fact we are unrehearsed, Makes it an unpremeditated art; Like Shelley's skylark. What formality, what etiquette? No ladylike or gentlemanly manners count I am with you under the down pour; Not even letting the umbrella to come and draw us apart © 2015 fattycbreezy52Author's Note
