Velvet and Grains

                         

No sooner did she plant her nimble,velvety feet in the raffish sands of time 

Than the waves hurtled rambunctiously

To smooch those Lilliputian granules of the bank,

Spreading tranquility eveywhere.

Thanks for reading this.Someone threw the word challenge(Rambunctiously) at me and I thought of articulating it this way.

Theres nothing as calming as a little paddle in the cooling waters - reconnecting deeply with our ancestral home. This is a fine employment of the term FcB - I thought it was seomthing to do with a male sheep bunk bed - what...? That WAS crap, you're right, I'l get my coat...lol

Was about to comment on the use of 'rambunctiously' then read your author's note. You have indeed used the word creatively FCB, in a lovely gentle poem which depicts nature's hand at work as we interact with her.

So true.I loved the way you interpreted this .Yet,there's a bit more added to it.Sands of time in a way indicate every passing moment or simply a moment which is coming in the span of her life/lifetime like a monstrous wave.Yet,the action of planting the feet indicates her courage to face every wave or situation boldly and carefree and when the situation receives such a velvety response from her,it kind of breaks down like a wave on dashing against the shoreline and spreads tranquility once the situation is averted;D

Ah yes I saw the double meaning too and my reply was to both as both are controlled by nature/fate. Which ever way it is read it is a lovely verse FCB.
