the roasted being

the roasted being

A Poem by fattycbreezy52
"

the tragedy of insanity

"
She kept looking at the fire
Which was precarious enough to consume her.
Fire which could have called forth a multitude of blisters to evade her satin skin
which so tactfully would have tattered and ripped the silk against her delicacy.

She mumbled and fumbled to herself and there was no one to listen.
Insanity had taken a toll on her.
She remembered a few verses from the past and started chanting them as her last hymns.

The fire raged and raged and she steeped down and down into an abyss of thoughts and ultimately
the ogre came, rose and conquered her,
Conquered her with its full potential.

She lay there blistered and brown.
She was a piece of Barbeque  charcoal upon which the notorious death was roasting it's
                           'DEPARTURE-CHICKEN"

I do not know whether there's anything called "departure-chicken" but take it the way I mean it in the context of the poem.
Thanks for reading btw:)
