Bisexuality(in collaboration with Anna) :A tribute to Shakespeare

A Poem by fattycbreezy52
"

the earth has music for those who listen

"

Never did I think of a Prince Charming, mounting a stupid pony or a chic white horse
arriving at my doorstep.
Aristocracy ,after all. is not my cup of tea.

I see a hunk riding a bullet
That would break free the accelerator
And snatch my gaze in the inertia.

He is messy, wild and spiky-haired
He is intricate, offensive, passionate and tangled
Just like your white ear-plugs which take a lot of time before getting separated.
He can make you forget the world not for a while but permanently
When I am with him, he creates time
Yes, the same man for whom I can keep on writing pages after pages of poetry and never ask for a sweat-towel or energy-drink.
He doesn't give me shivers down the spine, he himself creates those sensations.

15 years before
When I was in nursery, I would go with the girls and pee
My best friend, went to a separate toilet.
Sister scolded me when I told him to come with me
And complained to my mom.
She said boys are different and I shouldn’t go to the toilet with them. And girls? They qualified in the test of who could be exposed in front of me.
Yet, on his 19th birthday I liked his force on my empty skin
And his touch that sent me chills.
And I liked when her soft cold hand, that held mine, squeezed it, during the murder scene in the Huge black room.

Her,
I met her during our college fest.
She had danced gracefully and dazzled me completely.
I had a dream that night.
She had pushed me against the wall of an under construction building on the 13 th floor and played with my cheekbone. Then suddenly threw me off and then jumped herself.
I held her. She held me.
During the weightlessness she kissed me with her eyes.

Now about

My girl?
Well,

She is an introvert, ,
C'mon her heart is not on a holiday
It's very much there,
just caged inside that Gothic and ribbed cashmere sweater.
Playing guitar like Taylor Swift,
She would strum while I would hum.
Sometimes she breathes heavily and sometimes her lips make me forget my breath
When I am with her, I melt completely
Melt as if earlier I was a frozen glacier which had long been preserving its Siberian crispness.

I could sleep with 'her' at night and they had no objection.
Funny, I had to lie to them while I slept with 'him'in his empty flat.

One was a sin,

                                                                  another was customary.

He was my passion

                                                                                                           and she was my  desire
And yet both were just normal;

the difference between his boxers and her panties.

             It's not my repression, depression

or frustration and incompleteness
Which has turned me to her
I know this brutal society looks down upon us.

Yet I preferred sin to normalcy and wore the bliss.

I kind of enjoyed the flexibility and the restrictions.

Like creatures devoid of purity and rationality
Which rationality' after all 'teaches you not to indulge in love?
Which emotions and feelings suppressed till
date have given rise to any positive consequences?
The suppression either will make you a savage, diabolic lover like Bronte's Heathcliff
Or will lead to that incessant frustration where you will drink too much and ultimately be ruined.

We three cannot be an ideal couple like Victoria and David Beckham
But we can create a history unique in its own way.

“The earth has music for those who listen”

Listen to the beauty of both.
And how I see it, you can never see.
Because you expect us to do exactly the opposite of what you ask us to, and then question us about it.
Here lies the secret.
I will do everything and anything you have asked or haven’t asked yet. Because I hear a music that you are immune to.

If 154 sonnets could be written for a fair friend and a dark lady,
Where are we going wrong?

Hey! Heathcliff is my favourite character, after Hamlet - do not call him diabolic! Just kidding :)

Great writing! The expressions are sufficiently chaotic to express the sought state of mind......:)

Hahaha thanks aaron.I will surely convey this to anna..Good that we all think alike:)
By jove, someone reviewed most of the things I would point out, so I'll just skip to things you have not been told. Too bad for you I'm lazy that way.. hehe

This is pretty raw... pretty Realist. And pretty Beat in the tone of it! I needed nothing more to like it but be assured there are things I like apart from the tone.

I confess I'm not too pulled in by the girlish stuff... but I understand it is necessary for this one.
Other than that, I could see bits of Shakespearean influences here and there but most of it MUST be accredited to your friend and you.

I can make out a few parts by you... but I think all of it is mixed up to be sure entirely; the parts which nearly fooled me?
The quote is something I believe in though I say it differently: "Nature has no noise, all it says is music". Good to know you too have similar thoughts and its follow up is good.

I really like the last couplet. The society is fucked up; hypocrites. Shakespeare was indeed the visionary when it came to portraying society.

Do not care about the results. Pretty sure no one else would have managed this! be proud of what you managed to pull off in the short span of time, fattyc :)

This poem is very deep. I thought the length of the piece would bore me or throw me off, but I was wrong! It was written quite well. Great work!

Lol. Thanks.
A great poem. A poem which raises some serious questions and answers them intelligently. An amazing piece and an appropriate tribute. You've used the quote so wonderfully it seems as if the quote was made for the poem. Fantastic job! :)

I loved the beginning. All of it. I can't pick out specific lines here. It was absolutely spendid. :)

Just like your white ear-plugs which take a lot of time before getting separated.
What a comparison! In today's age of electronics, the comparison is so appropriate. We all love our earphones and man if the guy is like my earphones, I want him now! :)

He can make you forget the world not for a while but permanently
True love that! Nicely written. :)
When I am with him, he creates time
Wow! I'm in love with the line. It is so profound. Hats off! :)
Yes, the same man for whom I can keep on writing pages after pages of poetry and never ask for a sweat-towel or energy-drink.
Awesome. That's all I can say. :)

He doesn't give me shivers down the spine, he himself creates those sensations.
Beautifully expressed. :)

She is an introvert, ,
C'mon her heart is not on a holiday
It's very much there,
just caged inside that Gothic and ribbed cashmere sweater.
Such nice lines explaining the introvert nature of a person. Great job here! :)

Playing guitar like Taylor Swift,
In this line I think it should be ''the guitar'' or ''a guitar'' not ''guitar''.

Sometimes she breathes heavily and sometimes her lips make me forget my breath
A great paradox! :) Just one thing - ''forget my breath'' didn't quite strike me as correct. I think it should be ''forget how to breathe''.

Which rationality' after all 'teaches you not to indulge in love?
Which indeed! I LOVED the line.
Which emotions and feelings suppressed till
date have given rise to any positive consequences?
The suppression either will make you a savage, diabolic lover like Bronte's Heathcliff
Or will lead to that incessant frustration where you will drink too much and ultimately be ruined.
Superbly written. An amazing argument. Shakespeare would probably have hugged you for this. :)
We three cannot be an ideal couple like Victoria and David Beckham
But we can create a history unique in its own way.
I like the positivity expressed here. Nice lines. :)

If 154 sonnets could be written for a fair friend and a dark lady,
Where are we going wrong?
A spot-on ending! You couldn't have ended it more perfectly. A great writeup! :)

Despite the fact you're not bisexual you've still managed to write up a very sincere and respectful piece inspired by the sexuality, a sign of great empathy--a wonderful thing for a writer to have. I love the style in which you write, I think I've finally pinned down the reason: your stanzas come in movements. Wonderful!
