A conspiracy of optimism

A conspiracy of optimism

A Poem by fattycbreezy52
"

What happens when every part of your numb body forms an alliance everyday to make you look optimistic enough and you are defeated, defeated badly in the contest?

"
Everyday when I wake up from my deep slumber,
A strong determination is expressed by my bones, muscles, heart and the grey matter.
The confederacy ultimately reaches a goal,
A goal to make me look optimistic enough for the day.

Alas!This federation trounced me,I lay prostrate !
Yes,it happened only in the morning which people wish to be "good"
It was all okay until I actually digested those charitable insults hurled at me
I managed to fake, yes ,the curve which we all call the "smile"

This is a good way to look at it and is depressingly humourous in a way.
Only the righteousness-demanding prevent us from optimism; they don't even know they're doing it.

You should start to edit and refine the pieces more; sometimes the presentation conveys it all.
Good write fattyc.. I enjoyed reading this.
