When our eyes first met, the grand catastrophe began I lost myself in the depths of your eyes Fell for the love in your embrace When feelings were beyond words When happiness was an unwavering constant. When we went to the fairy meadows and spent a night under the glittery, starry sky. And watched the sunrise Our words made love, our eyes made love but our bodies remained distant When fingers entwined and legs were tangled, our breaths merged together. And i broke every night, in the confines of your chest And you rebuilt me every night. Filled my cracks with gold whereas i was just mud Then there was a time when eye contacts no longer held that magical spark When your touch no longer initiated fireworks When i broke and broke and broke All too much Beyond repair The blow of the impact changed my life The cause of the impact was simple: i was replaced. We crossed each other as strangers No words exchanged, let alone love Grew to become the monster i feared All too cold. I froze to snow and became a little more than heartless My sick obsession froze to become a stone in my heart A stone laden with grief It's weight sank my boat, a bit, every time i saw you Because i had died before my death
