live without shame.A Poem by Faati Jaanagainst the stone cold wall, she is encompassed by the silence as she glances at each shadow-draped corner that symbolizes the holes in her that have not been filled, except with her guilt that they exist. looking up, she finds her reflection: hair, eyes, nose, lips, skin....body- eyes avert quickly and her face feels heavy. who am i? she asks the air. what have i done? what right do i have to be? feeling within her the answer, she lifts her pen and on her wrist she writes: NO SHAME i live without shame.
