Just a simple love poem.

I want to delicately trace

the creases in your face

and the cracks in your lips

with my fingertips..

I want to tightly hold 

your hands when they are cold

when they are warm, even so

I will not let them go..

I want to lay upon your chest

have you hold me while I rest

hear your heartbeat alive in riot

while the world remains dead quiet..

I want to swim in your love

until I reach the heavens above, 

I want to drown in your soul

because with you, I become whole..
