Imperfect

Imperfect

A Poem by fatalsymphonies

We're imperfect,
We're spreading scarlet like the drops of blood that paint these fingernails.

I dig my fingers into the ground, and
Crack.
Perfection loses its breath,
A wish of yours and a wish of mine amidst the thunders of
Evening's forever,
My senses of togetherness
Rains.
(Do you feel that?)

We're imperfect,
We're spreading scarlet
Like the drops of tears that wash away these grounds.

Only a shape of our emotion
Stays behind,
(Do you see that?)

Love never claimed to be,
But I held it between my layers of soft skin
Like an onion in a blizzard, to dust the skies.
Perfection?
