& PairsA Poem by fatalsymphonies
A hand craves for the fabrics of a world
to fend for itself and save another being, "Just trust me," and I dip the floor, dress flowing out like an umbrella of the imagination, and I dip to the floor, secured at the waste, trusting, trusting, trusting , , ; . and he drops me... My ribs crack two by two, the wind knocks out of me like gasps of betrayal. I grope the smooth grounds but my fingers Do slip again and again, Yet I still asked, "Where, where are you?" Sobs belated, discombobulated, thoughts astray and misery's hand warms my slender fingers, I turn my face away; My powdery cheek rests against the concrete, eyes struggling to stay awake. Grays sheeting my vision, fogs shading the sights, the cold frigid floor feels worse and somehow numbs out the pain, I shall no longer feel. A squeeze at my shoulder shocks my eyes open, a call for my name with scary insight to line it, I meet my eyes with the source of the pain, and a sigh of relief chills my neck up and down. It frigidly breathes in unison with my pulse, I hear it and feel it, Two bodies, two souls, Athump and Athump Lalalala ..a... lalalala... "Where, where are you?" Singing together With ties that doth be severed... & Pairs of hearts, on the icy floors of blackness, Rock Bottom. © 2011 fatalsymphonies |
