Talented Fashion Designer

Janvi Ghatalia is probably a name you’ve a heard many times if you’re in the fashion industry. Tailored, textural and influenced by bold colors, her work precedes her in ways that are impossible to forget.

Janvi started in the fashion world in Mumbai, India. At a very young age she was fixated with fashion, textiles and prints. She showcased her first fashion

collection at just 19 with a runway fashion show that proved to be a runaway hit. Riding a wave of buzz, Ms. Ghatalia made New York her home base, working with influential designers Naeem Khan, Hanley Mellon, Vince Camuto.

Under these brands she also worked with well known celebrities, models and influencers ranging from Taylor Swift to Sasha Obama - an achievement most designers of her age only dream of.

Most recently, in September 2019, Janvi led the design team which collaborated on a capsule collection with celebrity blogger Jaime Shrayber, designing a year’s worth of looks for the Texas-based influencer. Responsible for both the collection’s design as well implementation, Janvi’s impressive talents were on full display. Debuting in January 2020, the collection generated a lot of media attention through advertisements in magazines and via digital billboards all over the country. The Jaime Shrayber x 1State Collection was also a commercial success, selling almost half of its initial run.
