a little shout out that needed to be said for a long time

What should this be prolonged? Give into your senses.
You know that all of this is meaningless.
If you see what I’m feeling
Or feel how I’m reeling
The precipice that supports you would collapse all around you.
Your false sense of security finally confessing too.
Pain like thorns would choke your ‘ecstasy’.
Too late to herald a “Rescue me.”
Your short-sighted, self- gratifying acts stripped us of innocence
Those who loved you didn’t deserve to suffer this.
Feelings of foolishness, naivety, and senselessness will now be your comrades.
Do you recall the mind-set that you once had?
Not long ago, standing tall and assured characterized you in a positive light.
It's ironic this led to your downfall in plain sight.
Now it’s too late to acknowledge your pride.
Long past the turning of the tide.
I no longer am plagued by peripheral nature.
This revelation payable to you, dear.

Thank you so much for reading it and for the commendation :)
Yeah ... it`s really "EXPOSED!!" You just "EXPOSED" the hearts of great seduction with your words. Very strong write!!

Pride, indeed, goeth before the fall.

The most telling of all, I particularly liked these two lines:

"Your short-sighted, self gratifying acts stripped us of our innocence
Those who loved you didn’t deserve to suffer this."

Sometimes the price we pay to learn these things is entirely too high.

This is powerful stuff. I can understand the need to let it out.
