love flied like a dove!

love flied like a dove!

A Poem by Fariha Tahseen Karim
"

Want to tear off your hair? You were cheated again and again. Than take a look to my poem

"
When the mosquitoes kisses you, it sucks your blood
When the rain misses the ground it causes  flood
I should've known that fire can never love ice
Its impossible! cats can never marry mice
Love I knew was blind
Love I just can't find

My lips can't take the weight of a smile
My figures tremble because of your number which I can't dial
You fed fake sugar to my smile, making it fat
I spent years making a house of card on which you sat

Your hug was like a hot cup of tea
Now I want to pour it on your head and say "Ya, that's the real me"
You knew you were cheating on me and your lips spoke all lies
You decided to accept my proposal just by throwing a dice

Now you want all your kisses back?
But I'll give you what you lack
A tight slap........

One of the best poems i have read on failed love, that brings out female empowerment.
Females are soft when the man behaves properly but would take on the avatar of "Goddess Kali/Durga " to make sure that the cheaters life is made miserable.
If you have not heard of Kali or Durga, please Google it and you would be amazed about the female power Shakti that is revered by the Hindus of India.
Very nice ending.
If the poem was autobiographical, kindly give the two timing slimy ball one more SLAP and also a KICK, though it would not rhyme with "back" and "lack"
Keep up your good writing and continue spreading joy.

A good person to have out of your life. And it's good that y ou finally learned the truth about him and were able to give him what he deserves.

A really great job at expressing your anger at the person who cheated you. I especially liked the first 4 lines. They are put up brilliantly!
In just a few lines you showed betrayal and hurt. I really liked it :) Nice job!

I feel that you did an excellent job of conveying the anger you feel towards that person.
My favorite part of this poem was definitely "cats can never marry mice," that was a brilliant way to have put it.

You portrayed betrayal & the hurt/anger that comes from that really well, all that you give with honesty & trust & what you get back in return...love the first line :)

Those last 3 lines were the perfect lines to end this awesome poem with. Overall, this is a great poem. You made great use of rhyming syntax, and other literary devices. The effort you put into your writing is awe-inspiring. Keep up the good work!

This has a really strong start! I think you would benefit by making the 2 middle sections a bit more simple. But keep the emotion. The betrayal and angry are very present.
Well done! looking forward to reading more. :)
