A Chapter by fantasymad

As he looked out on the grassy plain that was his home, Igor could see nothing but the thick grey fog that had swallowed the central regions of Boldia, he was unable to see even the highest peaks of the mountains that circled the grasslands like the ocean circles the islands of Nedva, for all he knew, the great darkness could have broken free of its chains and taken away all light from these lands. And then he felt it, a tremble, so immense that the roof started to collapsed and the walls caved in, he raced for the exit but was to late, the hut turned to rubble, and he saw nothing but black, the last thing he ever heard was the sound of earth tearing apart.
