Perpetual Rag Doll

Perpetual Rag Doll

A Poem by Jayleen Amorita
"

abuse can be addictive

"

Perpetual Rag Doll

he stuffs her insides

with his sugar coated principles

he feeds her charitable mind

fiction

You're beautiful.  I love you.

she impatiently

eats it

her regular nourishment

he brazenly

tosses her compliance around

her spiritless body

lies on the timeworn carpet

her heavy head rests

on the olive

salt-stained pillow

daydreaming

of her next abuser...

I don't know if I should be depressed, or really glad I found a logical poem, about a realistic and horrible thing; abuse. Thanks for this it was great.
