A Weather of Sadness

I sit on a stool, Middle of nowhere

Surrounded by a view beguiling to me

Wind blows lightly giving me a chill

Welcoming the feel of winter again


The clouds likely to cry out soon

The jittery feeling settling within

The happiness is floating everywhere

Its time for freedom to reign again


Once I had been the one living outdoor

Today I am stuck in a place without air

The need to live and enjoy is engraved deep

All to soon reality comes crashing down ......

The distance between free outdoors and the suffocating claustrophobic congested indoors with no free air is really a concern, extend your arms, open the dream world, simply fly if you can, well penned and great flow of lines and metaphor

It was these lines that touches me the most for I am a emotional guy and a deep thinker... Though mostly I would like to call myself a deep thinker but anyway "happiness" and "freedom"??? To be free is happiness but happiness isn't freedom and that's what I took from this poem because many can say they are happy but many can not say they are free... Many are stuck with their life and are content and facade of happiness so is it true happiness??? Yes and no but one thing that is for certain freedom has no shades of gray you're either free or your a slave... One or another.... Great job in capturing this moment in life...
