Twin Alice's

Twin Alice's

A Poem by Luna Valentine

Twin Alice's

Run down the rabbit hole, clutching hand in hand
A fate beneath them unknown
A white rabbit throwing them a warning
"It's not a wonderland!"
They giggle picking flowers of the forest
A man, a hatter approaches,
swaying back and forth
Their silly little selves do understand his ways
A crazy man, a mad hatter
Instead they join the tea party
laughing and eating food
He says,
"Eat up, plump is always the best!"
fleeing all their worries
They run off hand in hand
With the hatter trailing behind
Then the skies go dark
They see their mistake
and silly little tears pour out of their eyes
This is not wonderland
I warned you
