The Words
Until the words no longer come the sea will call the rising sun and I'll love you most of all when the words no longer come. the sea will rise my ashes fall still you will hear my last call and one more time beneath the sun the sea will call the words will come.

Breakfast at the beach produced this one in five minutes. Insight; perhaps...

There is a melancholy loveliness to this love poem. The beach is my favorite spot to write. Inspiration seems to fly through the sea air. Perhaps written in five minutes, but the staccato lines are powerfully emotional. Wonderful work, Barbara. Lydi**

Seems one stanza mimic the other one...
a reasoning of one thought into another....
like a voice --- expressed in a vapor...
and gone again...

Hi Barbara, I liked this. It feels very spontaneous, very light. But at the same time it seems very deep. (I work with elders and this makes me think of some of my older couples I work with)

Hope the words come riding in on a ray of sunlight and talk to you through a shell while your lying on the beach....

Our best poem is often the one which takes the least time to write, when things just flow. I loved this one, enjoyed reading it thorougly, thanks for sharing! :)
